Since 1985 Durham Contracting Inc. has been actively working as General Contractor in the GTA area servicing the commercial, industrial, institutional and residential sectors. DCI's list of completed projects is very diverse, covering a wide range. As the construction industry became more controlled over time with the need for local city building departments to have their building codes regulated also came the need for an architect, engineer or both to be hired by the client themselves or the contractor if they are doing a design build themselves.
Managing the construction site with all the coordinating and supervision of tradespeople, deliveries, ordering of materials, site inspections, implementing and maintaining a strong Safety Policy and Program and the need for an experienced General Contractor became more important.
A reliable and experienced General Contractor by following the project initial Plan, the design of the Architect, Engineer or both and implementing and adhering to the best build-ing practices will attain a completed project with superior end results that will be most benefi-cial to the client being served.
